CORE PHILOSOPHY
- High-volume irrigation, efficient debridement.
- Antibiotic adjuncts and cement / beads in the room but not opened unless requested.
- Pedipod War Chest (Card 5) available for reduction, exposure, and bone work on all open-fracture and I&D cases.
FLUID & IRRIGATION SETUP
- Cysto tubing.
- Normal saline 3 L bags x3.
- Irrisept 500 cc set.
HOLD IN ROOM — DO NOT OPEN UNLESS REQUESTED
- Vancomycin powder 2 g vials.
- Tobramycin 1.2 g vials x2.
- Bone cement: Simplex P or Palacos x1 box.
- Stimulan calcium sulfate 20 g package x1.
- #1 or #2 Prolene.
